For over 60 years against International Law and UN convention the US has imposed an economic blockade on Cuba affecting every aspect of Cuban peoples lives. In October 2024 the UN General Assembly voted 187 against the blockade and 2 for it (the US and Israel) but the US continues to impose the blockade even more brutally.

Cuba Vive is a medical aid appeal to send life saving medicines, surgical and other vital medical aid to Cuba. Cuba’s commitment to health as a human right has helped the country achieve world renowned health services for its people.. For more information follow the link

On Saturday 26th July at 11.30 we will be setting off from Cromford Visitor Centre for a 4 mile walk along the High Peak Trail and Cromford Canal for a picnic at 2.00 pm on Cromford meadow.
